PADI Open Water scuba diving course in Belle Mare, Mauritius

• You meet your instructor at The Residence Hotel in Belle Mare.
• You begin with a short briefing and equipment fitting with full Scubapro gear provided.
• The first session takes place in the lagoon, where you’ll learn and practise essential scuba diving skills in a calm, shallow environment.
• Over the course of 3 half-days, you complete 4 open water dives on coral reefs located less than 10 minutes away by boat.
• Each dive builds your confidence and skills, while allowing you to explore the colourful underwater life of Belle Mare, including tropical fish, coral formations and more.
• Your certified PADI instructor guides you throughout the course, adapting the pace and support to your needs.
• Once all skills are validated and the dives completed, your instructor issues your official PADI Open Water Diver certification, valid worldwide.
• You receive your personal dive logbook and a quick debrief before wrapping up your training.

You must not have any medical contraindications to take part in this activity. Please inform your instructor of any medical conditions when booking.

Being in good physical condition is required to take part in this activity. You must be able to swim 200 metres and float unassisted for 10 minutes.

All participants must bring a copy of their diver certification card and logbook.

Written parental authorisation is required for minors to participate in this activity without an accompanying adult.

A flight must not be scheduled within 24 hours after the dive.

This activity is not recommended for pregnant or disabled people.

Photos/videos are available at an additional fee, to be paid onsite.

All participants must show proof of personal diving insurance or purchase one onsite before the activity.
