Your adventure departs from Stavanger, a coastal city in southwestern Norway. It is located about 40 km (25 mi) from Pulpit Rock, one of the most famous natural attractions in the country. Pulpit Rock, or Preikestolen, is a steep cliff rising 604 metres (1,982 feet) above the Lysefjord in Rogaland County.

The hike to Pulpit Rock begins with pick-up from your accommodation in Stavanger (please specify your location when booking). After meeting the experienced guide, you'll set off on a scenic drive to the hike departure point. Upon arrival, the guide will go through a safety and itinerary briefing. The hike is moderately difficult, with steep sections and varied terrain. Then, you'll start hiking to Pulpit Rock! On a hidden path, you'll pass stunning nature and breathtaking panoramic views of the Lysefjord below.

After admiring the world-famous views from the top of the rock plateau, you'll hike back down the cliff. In the afternoon, you'll embark on a peaceful cruise on Lysefjord, passing cascading waterfalls, towering mountains, and remote villages. You'll venture right into the heart of this dramatic fjord to the small village of Lysebotn. Spend the evening taking in the mesmerising fjord scenery and enjoying a delicious 2-course meal. You'll sleep overnight in a private room in the village.

The following morning, after a buffet breakfast, you'll drive up the legendary 27 hairpin turns of Lysevegen, leading to the Kjerag trailhead. Kjerag is a 1,084-metre (3,556 ft) high mountain, most famous for Kjeragbolten, a massive boulder wedged between two cliffs, which has become one of Norway’s most iconic photo spots. The expert guide will lead you on a thrilling hike to Kjerag through rugged terrain. You'll witness some of the most phenomenal fjord views while soaring 1000 metres above the fjord! At the end of the hiking experience, you'll be driven back to the starting point in Stavanger.
