The journey begins with pick-up from your accommodation in Stavanger or Sandnes (please specify your location when booking). The experienced guide will greet you, and you'll embark on a scenic drive through a spectacular glacier valley. You'll stop briefly in a small, local village, before continuing the journey to Lysefjorden. Along the way, you'll wind through sheep-dotted mountain roads and the moon-like terrain of the famous Lyseveien, one of Norway’s most scenic and extreme mountain roads. This hike is considered challenging, with significant changes in terrain, steep ascents and descents, and a total elevation of 750 metres (2460 feet). The boulder is located at Kjerag, a 1,084-metre (3,556 ft) high mountain, which towers over Lysefjorden in Rogaland County. Once everyone is prepared, the hiking trip to Kjeragbolten begins!
