Course of events
- Meet your instructor 5 minutes before the scheduled start at the Carcavelos beach meeting point
- Get fitted with your wetsuit and surfboard, and receive your equipment for the session
- Begin with a warm-up on the beach, including a 10-minute jog and mobility exercises
- Receive a detailed briefing covering safety rules, ocean awareness, and basic techniques like the take-off
- Head into the water for approximately 1h30 of hands-on surfing practice, with constant tips and guidance
- Wrap up the session with a cool-down phase and light stretching on the sand
- Ask your instructor for feedback and advice for your next session
