Exploration Dive in the La Maddalena National Park, Sardinia

Please allow 4 hours for the whole experience.

• Meet at the AREAMARE dive centre in Cannigione at 08:30 or the day before to prepare your equipment.
• Receive distribution of the diving material.
• Board the boat and attend a full safety briefing led by the instructor.
• Sail for approximately 30 minutes to reach the archipelago’s premier diving spot.
• Complete an initial exploration dive of 40 to 45 minutes, depending on conditions.
• Enjoy a surface interval of 40 to 45 minutes on board with hot drinks and snacks served.
• Take part in a second exploration dive of 40 to 45 minutes at a different site within the national reserve.
• Sail back for approximately 30 minutes to the port of Cannigione and conclude the activity at the diving centre.

This activity is reserved for certified divers. You must be able to show a valid diploma to take part in this activity. Examples of qualifications accepted: Open Water Diver, Advanced Open Water Diver, Advanced Adventurer, Scuba Diver, Level 1 Diver, Level 2 Diver...

Minors must be accompanied by an adult.

Parental authorisation is required for minors taking part in the activity without an accompanying adult.

This activity is not suitable for pregnant women.

This activity is open to disabled people depending on the type of disability: please contact us before booking to confirm whether or not you can take part.

Some dive sites are further from the marina. In this case, Areamare will ask you to pay a supplement of between €30 (Spargi, Spargiottello) and €37 (Lavezzi Islands, wreck of the Angelika).

If the dive has to be rescheduled because of the weather, your instructor will inform you the day before or at the latest on the morning of the day of the activity.

You can leave your personal belongings at the dive centre or on the boat.

If you wish, you can arrange to meet the team at Areamare one day before the dive. You will then receive a briefing and have the opportunity to try out the equipment.

Participants who wear glasses can bring their own mask adapted to their eyesight. Otherwise, please ask your optician for advice if you wish to wear contact lenses during the activity.
