Best Time to Visit Ierapetra

How to Get There
Ierapetra is about 100 km southeast of Heraklion, Crete’s main city, and 35 km south of Agios Nikolaos. The easiest way to get there is by car, which takes around 1 hour and 45 minutes from Heraklion.
Regular buses connect Ierapetra with Heraklion and Agios Nikolaos, though having a car gives you more flexibility to explore the surrounding area.
