AltitudeX - Madeira

Training, nature, and adventure: AltitudeX - Madeira takes participants to the island's highest peaks for thrilling experiences that blend sport with breathtaking scenery.

Founded by Vasco Monteiro, a certified coach and passionate paragliding pilot, the project was born from a deep love of the mountains and the outdoors. Originally focused on trail running, the initiative later expanded to include paragliding, offering a unique way to experience Madeira, from the skies!

Each experience combines hiking along some of the island’s most scenic trails (like those leading to Pico Ruivo) with a tandem paragliding flight, for an unforgettable journey above volcanic ridges and lush forests.
