Founded by Vasco Monteiro, a certified coach and passionate paragliding pilot, the project was born from a deep love of the mountains and the outdoors. Originally focused on trail running, the initiative later expanded to include paragliding, offering a unique way to experience Madeira, from the skies!

Each experience combines hiking along some of the island’s most scenic trails (like those leading to Pico Ruivo) with a tandem paragliding flight, for an unforgettable journey above volcanic ridges and lush forests.

Vasco, the instructor from AltitudeX, was great, helpful and friendly. Communication went well through Whatsapp, good instructions beforehand, instructor speaks English very well.

Die Komunikation über Whatsapp war einfach. Der Ort war gut zu finden. Die Anleiter waren einfach super. Kommunikation auf englisch war perfekt es wurde alles super erklärt. Sie haben sich viel Mühe gegeben waren kompetent und auch sehr lustig.
