Base Canyon de la Besorgues

Base Canyon de la Besorgues is a multi-activity centre founded in 2009 in Labastide-sur-Besorgues, representing over 15 years of experience in the Ardèche region. The facility organises canyoning, caving, via ferrata, and climbing excursions led by state-certified guides. With an inventory of 350 wetsuits and equipment renewed annually, the centre provides specialized routes such as Aerocanyon and Cocoon Canyon, designed for families and groups. You explore the local waterways starting from a base equipped with secure parking, showers, and a snack bar open during July and August. Post-activity amenities include an on-site jacuzzi and sauna for recovery. The structure integrates verifiable sustainable practices, featuring dry toilets, composting, and a dedicated filtration system for washing technical gear. The base operates on 100% renewable energy produced locally, ensuring a reduced environmental footprint within the valley. Safety briefings are included for every departure, and the site is equipped with an automated external defibrillator.
