Tuscany Ballooning

Tuscany Ballooning is a family business founded in 1990 in San Casciano in Val di Pesa, representing more than 35 years of aerial experience. Based in the Chianti wine region, just 8 miles south of Florence, the company organises daily sunrise flights over vineyards, olive groves, and medieval townships. The flights last approximately 1 hour and take place in shared baskets accommodating 4 to 16 passengers, or in private formats from locations such as Siena, San Gimignano, or Lucca. The full experience lasts about 2.5 hours and includes balloon inflation, a safety briefing, and a breakfast featuring local produce and Prosecco served on the landing field. Safety is managed by professional pilots holding commercial licences with hundreds of flying hours. All equipment is regularly inspected by the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA). You explore the Tuscan landscape from a bird’s eye view before being driven back to the launch site by the ground crew.
