North Coast Watersports

North Coast Watersports is a surf school founded in 2019 at Dunnet Beach, in the county of Caithness in northern Scotland. It is run by Iona and Finn, competitors in the Scottish national surf team and national title winners. Drawing on this high-level experience, they offer learning and advanced sessions in the cold waters of the Highlands, an area renowned for the quality of its waves.

The school operates with a mobile setup thanks to a vehicle equipped with wetsuits, boots, gloves, and foam boards, allowing them to meet participants directly at the practice sites. A fixed base located opposite Dunnet beach also offers rigid board rentals and has an outdoor shower as well as a cleaning station.

You evolve in small groups to guarantee precise technical coaching. The student-to-instructor ratio is adjusted according to weather conditions and participants' skill levels, with daily monitoring of forecasts to ensure safety on the water.
