- Follow your guide by car for 5–10 minutes or continue the pickup transfer from the meeting point to Salto do Cabrito Waterfall, the starting point
- Receive a safety and activity briefing
- Gear up with your canyoning equipment
- Walk for about 30 minutes to the canyon's entrance
- Begin your 3-hour descent, featuring several rappels (4–16 meters), an optional 3-meter jump, and an optional zip-line
- Conclude the activity and get dropped off if you opt for the transfer service
The minimum height is 1.20 m (3 ft 11 in).
The minimum weight is 20 kg (44 lb).
The maximum weight is 120 kg (265 lb).
The maximum waist circumference (harness) is 1.40 m (55 in).
All participants who do not know how to swim must inform the company of this situation when booking.
Being in good physical condition is required to take part in this activity.
You must not have any medical contraindications to take part in this activity. This activity is not recommended for individuals with back problems, as well as pregrant or disabled people. Please inform us of any previous injuries, medical conditions, or health issues at the time of booking.
All children must be accompanied by an adult.

If you normally wear glasses, it's recommended attach them to a lanyard to prevent dropping and breaking them or losing them in the river.

Once you arrive at the starting point, you will have a short 30-minute walk through the forest to arrive to the starting point of the canyon.
Once geared up with all the necessary equipment (harness, helmet, wetsuit, socks, and boots) and briefed on safety, the descent begins! Over the next 3 hours, you’ll explore the canyon by rappelling down waterfalls (between 4 and 16 meters high), navigating volcanic terrain, and splashing through clear mountain streams. Depending on the season and conditions, the route may also include optional jumps of around 3 meters and even an exhilarating zip-line section for the more adventurous.
The route is circular, meaning you'll return to the starting point, making logistics easy and efficient. Throughout the activity, your instructor will guide you step by step, ensuring both safety and fun from start to finish.
This canyoning tour is accessible to beginners with a moderate to good level of fitness, and involves walking on uneven and slippery terrain, muddy slopes, and small scrambles.
