And to make the most of your stay in the region, without having to rent a car or take public transport, nothing beats a trip to Lake Louise by minibus! A 40-minute drive from Banff, Lake Louise can be reached via the Bow Valley Parkway, a panoramic road along which you will find Morant's Curve viewpoint, where you will make a short stop before reaching the lake. It is a great foretaste of what's in store in terms of scenery! Then, between Mount Fairview and Mount Saint Piran, you will have 4 hours of free time to discover Lake Louise at your own pace. You can hike around the lake, relax on its shores next to the impressive Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise, rent a canoe or kayak, and so on. There is no guide to follow, just your desires to make the most of the place, as you wish! Alone, as a couple, with friends or family, you are sure to appreciate this exceptional site in the heart of the Canadian Rockies.
