Learn to Surf in Caleta de Famara, Lanzarote

This 5-hour surfing lesson in Caleta de Famara, Lanzarote will be an incredible opportunity for you to learn the sport with expert instructors, and in a beautiful environment.

The instructors at Red Star Surf offer free pick-up from your accommodations and toward their offices in Caleta de Famara, but you can also choose to get to the meeting point on your own. Once you're there, you'll meet with your instructor for the day, and they will fit you for your wetsuit, board, and rash vest, which you'll be using all day. Please arrive at your surfing lesson in Caleta de Famara with your swimsuit on and your sunscreen applied to speed up the process of preparation for the lesson.

Once you're ready, you will be driven to the surf spot chosen for the day of your surfing lesson in Caleta de Famara, where you'll participate in a warm-up to prepare you for the day, and then you'll be divided into different groups depending on your surfing level. Then, it will be time to start! In groups of a maximum of 5 to 8 students per instructor, you'll learn the techniques necessary to get on a board and catch some waves.

At around midday, you'll take a short, 15-minute break to drink water and eat a snack if you want to. And once you're ready, you'll continue with the second part of the surfing lesson in Caleta de Famara, which will be video-recorded so that you can analyze it later on. This second part will last around 2 hours, and once you're done, you'll head back to the surfing center, analyze your lesson recording, and receive final feedback from your instructor, before returning your equipment and being driven back to your accommodations.
