Full-Day Snowmobile Safari in Ylläs

You should plan to spend around 6.5 hours on this activity:

• Pick-up at your chosen meeting point in Ylläs
• 09:45 - Arrival at the meeting point and introduction to your instructor
• Equipment distribution
• Safety briefing and snowmobile instruction
• 10:00 - Start of your approximately 4 to 5-hour snowmobile ride around Finnish Lapland!
• Lunch and hot drinks in the forest
• Stops to observe the landscapes and to rest
• Return to the meeting point
• Equipment return
• 16:00 (approximately) - Return to your accommodations and end of the activity

If you don't use the transportation service, please arrive at the meeting point at least 15 minutes before the starting time of the activity.

All snowmobile drivers must be at least 18 years old and hold a valid driver's license (B). Please remember to bring your driver's license with you for the activity.

Participants (including children) must be over 140 cm tall and be strong enough to hold on to the snowmobile to be able to participate.

A minimum of 2 paying adults is necessary to run this activity.

Snowmobile drivers are held liable for any damages caused to the vehicle. Personal self-liability is max. 990 €/person/snowmobile/case of accident. By purchasing a 20 € self-liability insurance before the start of the safari, you reduce the amount of self-liability down to max. 150 €/person/snowmobile/case of accident. Self-liability insurance is personal and valid for one snowmobile safari.

Your instructor includes a free transportation service from the following spots in Ylläs. Please get in touch with your instructor once your booking is confirmed to set up a meeting time and place. If you miss the pick-up time, you will not receive a refund for the activity.

If you have any dietary restrictions (vegetarian, gluten-free, etc.), please let your instructor know in advance, so they can accommodate you.

The snowmobiles can accommodate up to 2 people, with one driver and one passenger. If your group includes an odd number of people, your instructor recommends purchasing the single-driver supplement, so you won't have to share the snowmobile with a stranger.

This activity is not recommended for disabled or pregnant women. If you have a fragile musculoskeletal system, you should also abstain from booking.

Please note that the duration and itinerary of the activity depend on weather conditions. Due to unforeseen meteorological occurrences, your itinerary might be shorter or take a different path than usual for your safety.
