The Occitanie region, and more precisely the Gorges du Tarn, are one of the best spots to practice multi-pitch climbing!

The Bureau des Moniteurs de Sainte-Enimie (instructors' office) offers you an introduction to multi-pitch climbing in the heart of the Gorges du Tarn. They will allow you to discover the activity and enjoy the cliff in an exceptional setting!

Multi-pitch climbing consists of climbing up a cliff in several stages. The total length of the tracks varies between 80 and 150 meters and is practiced with 2 or 3 climbers (including the instructor). No matter which site you climb, there will be plenty of grips and easy movements.

Accompanied by a state-certified instructor, you will climb the rocks of the gorge during sessions that take place in the morning or in the evening from 5 pm, so as not to "burn" on the rocks. One session lasts approximately 2 hours and a half and the approach and return walks may vary depending on the climbing area (15 to 45 min. max.).

You can also enjoy the exceptional panorama from the cliff and perhaps have the chance to see vultures!
