The Gorges du Tarn are a world-renowned climbing area where the greatest climbers in the world regularly come to enjoy themselves. It is also the perfect place to discover climbing, about 40 minutes by car from Millau. Climbing in the Gorges du Tarn can be done solo, in pairs or even with the whole family as the activity is accessible from the age of 4 and a half!

B&ABA Sport Nature has equipped a series of small areas for beginners, offering a very surprising quality of rock. Climbing in this natural environment is mythical due to the particular geology of the Tarn gorges, with rocks of bright orange, grey, blue and even black in places. You will climb cliffs of more than 80 m overhanging the Tarn and offering you breathtaking views! Supervised by experienced instructors with a state diploma, you will be able to tackle this activity with complete peace of mind!

The limestone on the cliffs offers a unique quality of climbing, with a route composed mainly of round-hole holds and rulers. The profile of the routes is often overhanging, even very overhanging. The first steps on these cliffs are often a bit confusing, but very quickly, the movements become intuitive. The majority of the routes are between the 7th and 8th degrees, but a very nice collection of 6+ is to be explored on the different zones proposed.
