Still wild and unspoilt, Tetiaora is a true natural jewel in the Windward Islands of French Polynesia. Just 2.5 hours by boat from the Papeete Marina, you can explore it either by staying in the only hotel there, The Brando, or by taking part in an excursion from Tahiti, like this one. But as the first option is more expensive, you are better off opting for this day trip to Tetiaora on a catamaran! Thanks to this experience, you will have the pleasure of spending 5 hours in the magical setting of the atoll, between walking with your feet in the water, swimming in a lagoon that oscillates between 25 and 28°C all year round, and relaxing in the shade of the coconut palms. So, are you ready for an unforgettable day in paradise?
This excursion to Tetiaora from Papeete takes place aboard the Mokai Vaka, a maxi-catamaran with seating for 150 people, but limited to a maximum of 50 passengers. Built in mainland France in 2025, it has been designed to offer maximum comfort to its passengers, with top-of-the-range equipment (trampoline, sun loungers, tables, bar, freshwater showers, toilets, etc.), while at the same time becoming the most economical and respectful vessel in Fenua, thanks to its solar panels, wind turbines and hybrid propulsion (low-impact sails and engines). On board, the crew will take great care to offer you an exceptional adventure, with a high-quality breakfast, a buffet lunch with Polynesian flavours and an afternoon snack.
With its many shades of blue, white sandbanks and coconut palms, Tetiaora atoll is a picture postcard paradise. So it would be a shame to miss out on this catamaran excursion from Papeete, which is open to all ages!
