Road Trip around the Troll Peninsula from Akureyri

This trip departs from Akureyri, a prominent town in northern Iceland, situated at the head of Eyjafjörður, the longest fjord in the country. Tröllaskagi, or the Troll Peninsula, is a nearby mountainous and rugged peninsula, lying between the fjords of Eyjafjörður and Skagafjörður.

At Hauganes, you'll also visit its beautiful black sand beach and renowned outdoor hot tubs. You can take a dip in the refreshing waters of the Atlantic Ocean and heat up in the cosy hot tub while admiring unique panoramic views of the fjord. Afterwards, you'll visit the Baccalá bar restaurant in the village, where you can purchase a delicious meal.
