Skibotn is a village located in northern Norway. It is situated approximately 80 km (50 miles) east of Tromsø, and near the border of Finland. Skibotn is located along the shores of the Ullsfjorden, a fjord that provides picturesque views of the surrounding mountains and water. The region is characterised by stunning natural landscapes, making it attractive for outdoor enthusiasts and nature lovers. Snowmobiling is a popular activity during the winter season, allowing visitors to explore the more remote wilderness areas.

After a scenic drive, you will arrive at the camp and meet the experienced guide. The day starts with safety instructions and a demonstration of how to drive a snowmobile vehicle. You will also receive your snowmobiling gear and Arctic clothing, so you can be comfortable throughout the ride. Each snowmobile will be driven in pairs, with one driver and one passenger. There will be an opportunity to switch drivers during the excursion.

Under the instruction of the guide, you will set off into the surrounding pine forests. You will drive across a remote trail, over snowy open landscapes. On a clear day, you will have a breathtaking view of the Lyngen Alps in the background. The Lyngen Alps is a popular mountain range, known for its stunning and rugged beauty and a popular destination for mountaineers, hikers, and skiers. During the trip, you will have time to stop and capture photos of the stunning scenery. Your guide will bring you to some of the best spots to take your pictures. After switching drivers, you will return to the camp.

At the camp, there will be some time to relax after your exciting excursion. Hot drinks and snacks will be served for you to enjoy. As you warm up, the guide will also share stories about life in this remote Arctic village and the history of the region. At the end of your fun-filled day, you will be transported back to Tromsø.
