Course of events
Please allow around 9 hours for the whole experience.
- Get to the Tromsø Havn Prostneset bus terminal at least 15 minutes before the bus departs at 9 a.m.
- Approximately 2 hours on the Arctic Route bus to the Moen stop
- Meeting with your guide, followed by a private transfer to the Hotel Rundhaug Gjestegård (approx. 20 minutes' drive)
- Briefing on the activity and presentation of the moose over coffee with the guide
- Departure for a 4.5-hour safari in search of moose in the Målselv Valley, including a lunch break at the Rundhaug Gjestegård hotel and a 10-minute walk in the forest to discover a hunter's hut
- Transfer back to Moen (approx. 20 minutes' drive) to catch the Arctic Route bus scheduled for 4.20 p.m.
- Return journey by bus to Tromsø (around 2 hours' drive), arrival expected around 6 p.m.
