We were looking for a name that sounded outdoorsy and adventurous, that was easy to pronounce in English, German, French and Spanish and that would allow us to build our brand around it. When the name came up again and again, we started to get serious about it. We researched the definition of Manawa and came up with a number of things, including the name of a wave in Mauritius, a town in the United States, the Maori word for breath, a kitesurf board from the F-One brand... This convinced us that it was a perfect name for us.
So, we decided to add a new definition to Manawa: the best website for booking outdoor and adventure activities.
Manawa has two main objectives, one for customers and the other for business professionals.
For our customers, we want to enable as many people as possible from all over the world to discover the best outdoor and adventure activities and to be able to book them quickly and easily anywhere in the world.
For activity professionals, we want to help them develop their brand and activities by providing additional bookings, visibility, advice, and training.
