COCO rafting & canyon is a guide-led company established in 2025 and based in the Verdon Gorges. Operating within the Grand Canyon du Verdon, the structure specialises in white-water rafting and canyoning excursions. To ensure safety and a personalised experience, group sizes are strictly limited to 9 participants per guide. Each outing includes a comprehensive safety briefing before tackling key river sections or technical obstacles. The company provides a shuttle service to transport participants to the activity sites, such as the Barre Saint-Jean. In addition to the sporting aspect, the guide provides educational insights into the local geology, flora, and fauna of the Verdon region throughout the trip. All necessary technical equipment is provided for the activities. The founder and lead guide established the company after several seasons of experience in the region, ensuring expert knowledge of the local waterways and terrain.

About Aquatic hike in the Gorges du Verdon near Castellane.
We were the only two English speakers in our group, so they made sure that the one of the two guides who could speak English would guide us personally. He made sure that we were aware of the safety instructions and guided us through ahead of the group so that he could explain the procedure for the rapid up ahead, as well as tell us information about the area. Great service and really made our experience so much better!
