Practical information
Please be advised that the total snowmobiling time is 40-50 minutes.
Course of events
- Arrival arrive at the meeting point in Sirkka before the departure time
- Meet your experienced guide
- Board the minivan
- Transfer to the snowmobile area
- Put on your thermal clothing
- Safety and introduction to snowmobiling
- The adventure begins!
- Stops to admire the panorama and take photos
- Return to the original departure point in Sirkka
Activity requirements
Snowmobile drivers must be at least 18 years old and hold a category B driver's license, written in Latin Italics and valid in Finland. Please bring the physical copy with you on the day of the activity (digital versions/photographs will not be accepted).
It is strictly prohibited to drive a snowmobile under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
Children 4 - 14 years will travel in a sleigh pulled behind the guide's snowmobile when child price is paid. Children over 140 cm can sit on a snowmobile, when paying adult price for the tour.
Solo travellers or participants in groups with odd numbers might have to share a snowmobile with someone from another party.
Special terms
All of the snowmobiles are insured by traffic law for medical expenses. The snowmobile driver is held liable for any damages caused to the snowmobile. The liability damage cost has a flat rate of 900 € per person in case of an accident. For our shorter snowmobile tours (up to 4 hours duration) it is possible to purchase insurance from Wild Nordic for 20 € per person (as of winter 2024/2025), which reduces the maximum liability to 150 € per person (all the information regarding the self liability will be given by the guide before starting the safari.

Situated in the Arctic Circle, Finnish Lapland offers breathtaking landscapes and a wide range of winter activities. The snow-capped forests that surround Levi are perfect for snowmobiling, offering a backdrop to your adventures in this magical winter wonderland!
Your fun-filled tour begins after being picked up from the meeting point in Sirkka. At the base, you'll put on your thermal gear and be greeted by your experienced guide. You and your group will receive a safety briefing, followed by an introduction to snowmobiling. Please note that participants aged 4-14 are pulled on a sledge behind the guide's snowmobile. In addition, guests with valid driver's licenses are invited to switch driver's seats halfway through the excursion.
With your helmet on, the fun starts! You'll set off into the wilderness and make several stops throughout the tour, to admire the scenery and take pictures to capture the moment.
