Full-day Snowmobile Safari to Lappish Villages from Levi

• Arrive at the meeting point in Sirkka 30 minutes before departure
• Meet your experienced local guide
• Board the minivan transfer to the snowmobiling area
• If you have your own car, there is no parking at the meeting point so you should meet your guide directly at the Safari Centre in Tunturitie 2, 99130 Sirkka, Kittilä.
• Meet the guide and receive equipment: thermal overalls, winter boots, woollen socks, gloves, balaclava, and helmet
• Attend a safety briefing and receive driving instructions
• Drive the snowmobile through the wilderness (total driving time approximately 4.5 to 5 hours)
• Visit Lappish villages
• Stop for a break at a restaurant: enjoy a warming soup as the guide shares insights about the local culture
• Continue the snowmobile excursion
• Enjoy a coffee break with a hot drink and a pastry
• Return to the starting point in Levi

Snowmobile drivers must be at least 18 years old and hold a category B driver's license, written in Latin Italics and valid in Finland. Please bring the physical copy with you on the day of the activity (digital versions and photographs will not be accepted).

Minimum height to be a passenger: 140 cm.

Please arrive 30 minutes before the start of your safari. Be on time, as refunds will not be issued for late arrivals or no shows.

It is strictly prohibited to drive a snowmobile under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

A minimum number of 2 participants is required to run this activity.

Snowmobiles are shared between 2 participants. To arrange single riding, please contact your guide in advance or ask on the spot. Single driving is recommended for this tour.

Although single driving is preferred, families with teenagers are welcome to join, as long as the children are over 140 cm tall and pay the adult price. However, they should be prepared for the longer ride.

This activity is not recommended for pregnant women.

Many guides also speak other languages, like French, Dutch, Spanish, German, and Finnish. Guiding in a specific language can be arranged upon request for an additional fee and is subject to availability. Please note that it cannot be guaranteed unless requested in advance.

The driver of each vehicle is responsible for any damages caused to the snowmobile. The standard self-liability amount is a flat rate of €900 per driver / snowmobile / accident, regardless of the extent of the damage.

Please note that Wild Nordic cannot accept liability for personal injury or material damage occurring during excursions other than snowmobiling. We strongly recommend obtaining personal travel insurance before participating.

You may reduce the self-liability amount to €200 per driver / accident by purchasing a Self-Liability Waiver from Wild Nordic for €20 per driver (available for short safaris lasting 1–4 hours).
