Snowshoeing and Winter Bivouac near Mijanès

Let yourself be tempted by an original experience with a snowshoe hike during the day and spend the night in a winter bivouac near Mijanès in the Ariège!

For 2 days, enjoy an unforgettable adventure close to nature and the mountains! Put on your snowshoes and set off for a 1-hour walk in the Ariège Pyrenees, then make your way to the place where you will spend the rest of your excursion.

Start setting up your bivouac for the night. You will fetch wood to make a fire for the night, pitch your tent and, weather permitting, you can even build an igloo to spend the night in! After an exciting and challenging first day, enjoy a delicious dinner of hot soup to warm you up. You'll be able to sample or discover some of the local produce.

Come and enjoy a snowshoe hike near Mijanès in complete safety with an experienced mountain leader who will be attentive to your wishes. If you still have a little energy left, your guide can accompany you on a magnificent and unforgettable night walk under the stars.

The next day, put on your snowshoes again and set off on a 3-hour hike in Ariège mountains with a difference in altitude of around 100 metres! Depending on the weather and snow conditions, the route of this excursion may be modified.
