About the activity

Head to the Vicdessos valley, above Auzat, to meet the team at Speleo Canyon Ariège. All passionate canyoners themselves, the guides are ready to share an unforgettable experience with you in the spectacular setting of the Marc canyon.

Carved into schist rock and wrapped in lush vegetation, the Marc canyon offers an ideal route for a first taste of canyoning. From the age of 12, anyone who can swim and is comfortable with heights can take on the challenge in complete safety, supported by the constructive guidance of their instructor. Beyond its accessibility, the Marc canyon has another ace up its sleeve: its breathtaking natural beauty, combining steep-sided gorges with verdant, luxuriant vegetation.

The canyoning route for this activity features obstacles that are approachable yet genuinely technical. On the agenda: optional jumps from 5 to 8 metres, abseiling sections, swimming, and even river walking. Depending on the route chosen by your instructor, a 25-metre zip line may also be set up. Throughout this 2-hour activity, your guide will be by your side to ensure a successful and memorable canyoning experience.
