First Dive in Moorea Lagoon

With its stunning turquoise waters averaging 26°C and teeming with rich marine life and coral, Moorea’s lagoon is the perfect spot to enjoy your very first dive in French Polynesia. Down to a maximum depth of 6 metres, you will discover the incredible sensations that scuba diving provides – weightlessness, total silence, breathing through a regulator, and more – all while admiring one of the most beautiful underwater landscapes: the Papetoai Aquarium and its coral garden. Clownfish, surgeonfish, stingrays, and, for the luckiest divers, leopard rays and sea turtles will swim nearby, making your first dive in Moorea’s lagoon truly unforgettable!

To make this incredible adventure even more special, you will be accompanied by an experienced diving instructor from Polynesia, whose in-depth knowledge of the lagoon’s marine life will enrich your experience. They will guide a maximum of 2 people underwater at a time, allowing you to enjoy your first dive in Moorea safely, with personalised supervision. You will be equipped with high-quality Scubapro gear, which you will have time to get familiar with during the boat ride to the Papetoai Aquarium, as well as on the dive site itself, where you will enter the water from a sandy area just 1 to 2 metres deep. Your dive will progress at your own pace, ensuring you make the most of the experience, with 30 to 40 minutes underwater, the perfect introduction to scuba diving!
