Experience a caving excursion in the Cavern in the Trou de la Fée park, near Lac Saint-Jean! Take advantage of the park's hiking trails and immersive show.
- Guided tours of the cave every 30 minutes.
- The immersive show is shown every 30 minutes in the reception pavilion.
- Last admission: 3 hours before the park closes.
Course of events
- Arrival of participants at reception: please check in at reception to confirm your participation.
- Activity introduction at reception: a short briefing will explain how the activity works, the safety instructions, and what you will discover.
- Equipment handover at the Cave: helmet and required gear are provided onsite.
- Guided caving excursion with a professional guide: experience caving in the heart of the park’s cave, exploring its three chambers over a length of 68 meters, descending to a depth of 38 meters (about 30 minutes).
- Free access to the park after the exploration: once the underground adventure is over, feel free to enjoy the hiking trails and immersive sight-scenes offered onsite.
Activity requirements
Helmets are compulsory when visiting the cave.
Special terms
The Trou de la Fée park is open from 1 to 30 June from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., from 1 July to 20 August from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., from 21 August to 30 September from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and from 1 to 18 October from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. (the cave is closed from 13 October).
People with reduced mobility have access to the reception area, the cave tour, the virtual reality flyover of the river and the immersive show at Parc le Trou de la Fée.
The immersive show is shown every 30 minutes in the reception area in the basement. It is forbidden to eat in the immersive show presentation room.
