Practical information
Set off on a full-day (from 9.30 a.m. to 3.30 p.m.), 6-hour kayak tour of the Quebec wilderness on the Mistassibi River to learn the basic techniques of whitewater kayaking.

Objectives
This course is ideal for beginners or those wishing to consolidate their basics in complete safety. In particular, you will learn about :
- balance and stability aboard your boat ;
- getting out and getting back in the current;
- the basics of river navigation.
Activity requirements
Minimum weight: 50 lbs (22 kg) / Maximum weight: 300 lbs (136 kg)
You need to be able to swim to take part in this activity.
Parental authorisation is required for minors taking part in the activity without an accompanying adult.
Please arrive 15 minutes before the start of the activity to prepare the equipment.

Kayak levels 1 and 2 are the perfect way to learn and master the techniques in complete safety while enjoying the pleasures of whitewater kayaking in Saint-Stanislas: learn to maintain balance and stability aboard your boat, master exits and re-entries of the current, as well as the basics of river navigation!
Get ready for some memorable adventures and learn the skills and techniques of levels 1 and 2 as you paddle down the Mistassibi River north of Lac-Saint-Jean. It is the ideal activity if you are a beginner and want to try your hand at whitewater kayaking in Quebec!
