Caving in the underground river of Vicdessos, Pyrénées-Ariégeoises

With a depth of 76 meters and more than a kilometer of gallery, the underground river of Vicdessos offers several caving routes to discover it, with or without the use of ropes. A series of small abseils will lead you to an underground canyon punctuated by small waterfalls and beautiful galleries under the mountain of the Olbier rock. This unique cave in the Ariège is a little jewel with its black limestone walls veined with white which it is possible to see in several places during the crossing, starting with an upper hole opening into the mountain and ending with another hole at the bottom of the valley.
