Clue de Saint-Auban Canyon in the Verdon Gorge

Please allow 3 hours for the whole experience, including 2.5 hours in the canyon.

• Arrive at the car park at the entrance to the Saint-Auban canyon and complete administrative formalities.
• Receive technical equipment including wetsuit, neoprene socks, harness and helmet.
• Benefit from an organised vehicle shuttle to ensure a smooth return at the end of the activity.
• Take a short one-minute approach walk into the rocky canyon environment.
• Attend a full safety briefing from the instructor covering progression techniques in a fast-flowing river.
• Enter the Estéron River and begin the descent with the first natural slide.
• Experience a succession of waterfalls, swims through diversion pools and optional jumps including the famous 6-metre jump.
• Navigate technical sections through rock tunnels and pass through the “washing machine” feature.
• Cross above the large waterfall with the optional installation of a 40-metre zip line over the pools below.
• Continue the aquatic progression combining swimming, rope work and the final jump that can be repeated several times.
• Complete the one-kilometre descent and walk approximately 15 minutes back to the meeting point.
• Return the complete technical equipment at the end of the activity.
• Enjoy access to the base facilities including changing rooms, showers and on-site toilets.

You need to be in good physical condition and comfortable in the water to take part in this activity.

This course includes a compulsory 2-metre jump.

This activity depends on the weather: if the activity cannot take place because of the weather, you will be offered another date or a refund.

Pregnant women are not allowed to take part in this activity.
