From coral reefs, passes, and drop-offs to shipwrecks and biodiversity-rich zones, Tahiti is home to a wide variety of dive sites. There is something for divers of all levels who, even if other Polynesian islands and atolls are better known, will find real pleasure in exploring the underwater world of the largest island in the Society archipelago. To make the most of it over the course of a half-day, the Polyn'Easy Dive and Tours diving centre invites you to join this exploration diving trip off Tahiti Iti, the Taiarapu Peninsula. On the agenda: 2 dives at 2 different sites, giving you the chance to explore environments each with its own distinct characteristics! The Tables, the Lagoon's Hole, the Stingray Drift, the Horseshoe, the Te Pari Cave, and many more sites await!
For this experience, you will dive in groups of no more than 5 divers per dive guide. Each dive will last between 40 and 50 minutes, depending on your air consumption and sea conditions, and will take you to a depth suited to your level (minimum Open Water / Level 1). There are many dive sites around Tahiti Iti, but the 2 you explore will be chosen by the centre's team to ensure your safety based on a range of factors (weather conditions, currents, divers' levels, etc.). If you dive in the lagoon, you can expect to spot plenty of tropical fish (clownfish, surgeonfish, etc.), stingrays, blacktip reef sharks, turtles, and many other species typical of Polynesian lagoons, while offshore you may encounter larger species (tuna, barracuda, grey reef sharks, dolphins, etc.).
Led by local professionals, this half-day of exploration diving off Tahiti Iti will give you a memorable adventure at the heart of the island's most unspoilt dive sites. Don't miss out if you hold a minimum Open Water or Level 1 certification! And if you don't yet have it, you should know that the team offers a combined first dive and Level 1 course in Tahiti.
