Rich in biodiversity, Tahiti's waters offer an incredible environment for exploration diving! If you have a Level 1 or higher in scuba diving, a trip to Tahiti is the perfect opportunity to discover the unique flora and fauna that inhabit Polynesian waters. You will have the pleasure of diving at exclusive sites that are rarely visited by the diving centres in Punaauia, so you will always be on your own and can enjoy the wealth of marine life in peace and quiet!

The sites, located between Paea and Papara, are very beautiful drop-offs, sometimes vertiginous and very rich in flora and fauna. You will see plenty of sea turtles and various reef fish, and it is sometimes possible to spot white-tip sharks, sleeper sharks and leopard rays. Mobydick Diving will take you to one of the sites below, depending on the day's weather conditions and your level of experience:

. Rohotu False Pass - from Level 1

A vertiginous drop off, very vertical and endless, teeming with life: whip coral, soldier fish, hawksbill turtles, nudibranchs and numerous green turtles. The false pass is teeming with life and it is sometimes possible to enter to observe parrotfish breeding.

. Turtle Dormitory - from Level 1

At Papara, there is a vertiginous drop-off, all in relief and convolutions. The coral is in very good health, including on the flat. There is a rich and varied fauna, as well as a multitude of green turtles that find refuge in numerous hiding places. Sleeping sharks can often be seen.

. Paea Vault - from Level 1

A magnificent drop off that extends to a depth of 34 m, with a wide vault full of hiding places sheltered from the light. It is possible to see some beautiful fixed fauna, including numerous yellow gorgonians. The drop-off is frequented by many green and hawksbill turtles.

. Paea False Pass (or passe du Gouverneur) - from Level 1 with experience

A drift dive in calm seas. The dive starts in the lagoon, where the current will take you to a pretty channel where numerous leopard rays often swim against the current. The dive ends on a very pretty drop-off, which is arched in places. You may come across turtles and white-tip sharks.

. Mount Turbinaria (lagoon) - from Level 1

A pretty coral massif in the Tahiti lagoon, very imposing in terms of its size and depth, descending to more than 25 metres and offering multilevel diving. The dive consists of a loop through a forest of turbinaria, large cone-shaped coral formations dotting the walls.
