The instructions were clear, the introduction to the dogs and their story was amazing! We got there, had an introduction and played with the puppies and drank hot chocolate. We got the instruction from Manos which was clear and easy to follow and made our way over to get ready to go. The route was filled with breathe taking views which took around 30-45 mins. After, we had reindeer soup which was delicious. We were asked if we wanted more, I said yes of course, the same with the hot chocolate. Would go back if we return to Tromso.

Dog sledding was an absolutely thrilling experience! Riding through the snow-covered landscape, feeling the crisp winter air, and watching the dogs in action was truly special. Though I was initially nervous because I’m usually scared of dogs, the entire setup felt extremely safe and well-organized. The dogs were well-trained, energetic, and clearly well cared for, making the experience even more enjoyable.

The best thing about the activity was seeing how the dogs are treated and loved by the mushers. Amazing! They love to work the sled! It takes a lot of time to prepare the group, the dogs and the sled for the drive, so the trip itself was quite short. The snow conditions made it even shorter unfortunately.

It was a in theory a very amazing experience but not what I expected. We knew we were going to be driving the sled but it was a lot more involved. There was a VERY brief explanation of how to perform the task of driving, pushing, running the sled and a quick decision had to be made on who was going to be the drivers. There was a language barrier with some of the guests that really didn't understand the instructions, so therefore did not drive the sled correctly. It was very unorganized and chaotic. Also, we were told we were to have a hot meal which was basically a small cup of soup and hot cocoa.
