- Arrival at the Camp Tamok meeting point in Tamok Valley (please arrive at least 15 minutes before the departure time)

In addition, each participant cannot exceed 120 kg (264 lbs).

Please arrive at the meeting point 15 minutes before the departure time. For this activity, you need to make your way to the camp in Tamok Valley, transportation from Tromsø is not included.

You and your group (a maximum of 12 participants) will be greeted by your experienced instructor and musher (dog sled driver). Once you've put on your winter gear, including a thermal suit, winter boots, a hat, and mittens, you'll receive a comprehensive introduction to dog sledding and dog sled driving techniques. Now for the fun part, it's time to meet your adorable team of huskies who are raring to run!
With one person seated on the sled and the other driving, you'll take off at high speeds into Norway's winter wonderland, admiring the incredible scenery and experiencing a thrill like none other as you traverse the snowy terrain for 1.5 hours of dog sledding in Tamok Valley! Midway through the tour, you and the huskies will stop for a break (don't forget your camera!) and take turns driving. When you've returned to Camp Tamok, you'll have time to cuddle with the huskies before being treated to a delicious hot meal with beverages around a cosy fire in a lavvu (a traditional Sami tent).
